Promised my friend and artist Robin Fuqua that this small painting of hers that she sent all the way from America would make the rounds here in London. A few shots…the local pub with a 1/2 pint of Guinness, perfectly drawn from the tap and here with a few friendly East Enders in the park…the bloke on the right with the tiny painting to his left is NOT allegedly smoking a medicinal herb which he made me promise to say just after I promised him I was NOT the police. He was however quite impressed by Robin’s art and said it made his nipples hard. There was a very English looking lad sitting between the the non-herb smoker and the over dressed wide boy on the left but he had to take a “call” and could not be photographed. Hackney, London. August 2010.
…and didn’t want to leave Manchester. The view from the train on the ride back to London, made it okay, I suppose.
Lots of photos, yes. Feels like home. Now it’s just a matter of making it so.
Kensington Church Street. Gorgeous.
A very clean Teddy Bear. He seems to be happy about it too.
Kensington Park and N1 and I had planned to jog/power walk/burn some calories. Somehow we ended up consuming more than we burned.
It goes without saying, the best made plans…are meant to be changed.
